The site is home to the best of PSM President Terrie Wheeler's 20 years of legal marketing expertise, as well as the expertise of professionals with backgrounds in technology, graphic design, website development and more.
The site, which will be launched in the first quarter of 2007, is organized around the three phases of the PSM strategic planning process: Strategic Assessment, Business and Marketing Planning, and Implementation.
The strategic assessment portion of the site provides visitors with tools to prepare a marketing assessment including access to assessment tools, web-based preference tests, marketing research and competitive analysis, as well as profitability tracking tools.
The business and marketing planning portion of the site provides clients with information about the organization of the strategic marketing plan and offers tips and ideas for individual business and marketing planning.
The implementation portion of the site provides resources, links, worksheets, and other tools focused around PSM's four core pillars of marketing:
- Retaining and Growing Relationships with Existing Clients
- New Business Development
- Increasing Name Recognition and Awareness
- Targeted Client Communications
In addition, this section of the site offers myriad resources in the areas of general law firm marketing and the utilization of technology in legal services marketing. For example, this section includes tips and guidelines for conducting client surveys, client and end-of-matter survey templates, checklists for event planning, and proactive ways to use public relations in building name recognition. It also offers information on the development of proposal responses, and provides templates clients can use tailor proposals to their client's needs.
