Background – Noelle discovered her talent for professional “wordsmithing” while working as a part-time Writing Lab Tutor in college. After graduation, she had a crash course in media advertising as a Sales Promotions intern at the NBC-affiliate TV station in Minneapolis. She then took a full-time position as an Advertising Sales Assistant at the station, where she drafted presentations, edited department correspondence, and coordinated client events. Next, she went to work for one of Minneapolis' leading public relations agencies, honing her technical and feature writing skills while also coordinating media events for B2B clients.
A few years later, Noelle had the opportunity to combine two of her passions—writing and music—when she joined the marketing department at a leading Twin Cities symphony orchestra. While there, she wrote print and web content to boost concert sales, and also helped to implement the Backstage Tours and other loyalty-marketing programs for subscribers.
In 1999, Noelle started her own consulting company, Fanfare Communications. Since that time, she has served a diverse base of Twin Cities-based clients including Fortune 500 companies, start-up firms, and virtually everything in between.
