Brenda Johnson has been working in art direction and graphic design for over 18 years. Her experience includes development and execution of corporate identity programs, print materials, miscellaneous marketing programs, internet strategies, in-store decor packages, event planning and photo art direction. Every project, large or small, reflects her dedication to creating design that is aesthetically pleasing, yet functional.
Her corporate loyalty program experience includes work with U.S. Bank, Northwest WorldPerks, Diners Club, Merrill Lynch Visa Gold and Radisson Hotel's Look to Book. Brenda's design resonates with the target audience for lasting impressions that help foster customer loyalty and recognition. Her attention to detail and commitment to creating designs that are consistent with the brand image is another reason for her success with consumer marketing programs.
In previous director positions and currently as an independent contractor, Brenda has gained a reputation for her knowledge and expertise in all phases of print and web based production. Various projects include a vast array of printed media and advertising campaigns, design and installation of retail decor, designing and producing interactive media projects, planning, implementing and trouble shooting loyalty marketing programs, planning and implementing in-house incentive programs, and planning and coordinating large scale meeting and social events.

Brenda graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 1989 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, with an emphasis in graphic design. She offers pro bono design services to several non-profit organizations around the Twin Cities including The Cookie Cart, Way to Grow and MN Advocates for Human Rights. Brenda held the position as president of the Zonta Club of Minneapolis in 2005-07, was a group facilitator for the Minneapolis MELD organization, was a member of AIGA/MN, has sat on the board of directors of The Friends of the Ridgedale Library, and was Executive Vice President of Marketing and founding board member for FIT USA Foundation, a nonprofit diabetes organization. |
