“I love the ongoing challenge of striking a balance between ‘big picture’ strategic thinking and getting the nitty gritty details right on behalf of my clients. I enjoy the variety that each new project brings and the synergy that comes when all team members lend their unique skills and talents to a common goal.”
Kathilyn Solomon was writing before she could actually read. As a wee one, she whiled away the hours meticulously copying her mother’s handwritten notes. Published by age 10 in the Star and Tribune, Kat has spent an inordinate and quite enjoyable amount of her life writing and editing everything from blogs and websites to books (authored eight by real live publishers) and poems. And she’s won a couple of awards along the way.
She loves to tell a good story, whether via website, on social media, in a brochure, news release, through ghostwriting or scripts at a celebrity event, or at a local Moth storytelling slam or podcast. Her gift of listening and absorbing what clients are saying – and not saying — allows her to discern and capture the essence of a business, and effectively and compellingly articulate who they are. Working with her is an alchemical process, like spinning flax into gold.
Having spent some years at a startup that is now the world’s largest legal web marketer, Kat gets the Net. Whether you are in professional services, health-care, holistic health, art, education, or nonprofit, you will have found the one to convey who you are in just the way that matters to your niche client.
Kat balances her work between writing and editing and Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT or tapping) coaching. She is the single-parent of a beloved 19-year-old sophomore at Carlson School of Management and one serial killer cat named Mr. Purr.
