“With each client and each creative challenge, I think ‘How can I create excellence?’”
Colleen: Project Manager
When it comes to creating partnerships and foraging a new business relationship, Colleen looks to her roots: 3 years in the Peace Corps managing a youth program. Having learned the valuable lesson that building relationships takes trust, listening, and the ability to progress forward in the face of challenges, Colleen has an approach to work and life that is calm, yet driven, and purposeful, yet adventurous. When working with clients, this means Colleen is fearlessly innovative while connecting big picture goals to specific action plans.
Whether building a sense of community via social media, or designing a multifaceted communications strategy to engage a new customer, Colleen leverages her 4 years as an expat and her ability to learn languages (such as Azerbaijani, Russian and Mandarin) to bring cross-cultural considerations and a global perspective to communications.
Given her diverse consulting experience, Colleen knows business and knows how to work with clients to ensure their ideas and vision become reality. In fact, she sometimes stays awake at night thinking about how to connect entrepreneurs to resources, and writing campaigns for as of yet not invented products. Even so, many of her creative ideas are born when running-which she does quite a bit of as an ultra-marathoner. Yes, Colleen is the rare individual who enjoys running (and sometimes winning) 50 mile trail races.
