Myah: Marketing Communications Specialist | Copywriter
Myah Christenson believes every individual, company and organization has a story to tell. Her wide range of writing expertise, from journalism to social media and public relations, has solidified her calling as a visionary storyteller.
Myah is a 2020 graduate of the College of Saint Benedict, where the Benedictine Values guided her educational experience. The core values of community, respect, integrity and diversity are at the core of her work ethic, and further her passion for creating connections with clients and telling their stories through writing.
Throughout her college career, Myah managed the College of Saint Benedict/Saint John’s University (CSB/SJU) on-campus news show and worked as a reporter for a local radio station where she received four Eric Sevareid Awards for merit and investigative journalism. She spent time studying abroad in South Africa and traveled to Peru with a student-run team to produce a documentary. After receiving a degree in Communication, Myah went on to intern with Minnesota Public Radio where she worked as a journalist to tell stories within the community, host a podcast and voice newscasts.
Myah’s role at PSM aligns with her passion for storytelling and writing. She’s considered the “Special Projects Coordinator” and is always jumping into new projects and ideas. From working as a point of contact for public relations to developing web content, including blogs and creative writing, that enhances representative experiences, her love of learning is always pulling her to new areas of marketing.
When she’s not writing Myah enjoys painting, going for walks and creating the perfect Spotify playlist to match her mood.
