Privacy Policy — Copy Relative URL
Last updated: August 2026
Copy Relative URL is a Chrome extension built by PSM Marketing. This policy explains what data the extension accesses and how it is used.
What the extension does
Copy Relative URL adds a "Copy Relative URL" option to Chrome's right-click menu when you right-click a link. Selecting it takes the link's full address, removes the protocol and domain, and copies the remaining path, query string, and anchor to your clipboard. The extension's popup also offers the same conversion manually: paste a full URL, click Convert, and copy the result.
Data we access
The extension reads the URL of the specific link you right-click, or the URL you manually paste into the popup, solely to perform this conversion. This is the only data the extension accesses. It does not read page content, browsing history, or any other link on the page beyond the one you interact with.
Data we do not collect
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information, browsing history, location data, authentication credentials, financial information, health information, personal communications, or user activity such as clicks or keystrokes beyond the specific link URL being converted. We do not use analytics or tracking of any kind.
Where your data goes
Nowhere. The conversion happens entirely inside your browser. The resulting relative URL is placed only on your local clipboard. Copy Relative URL does not send any data to PSM Marketing or any third party, and it has no backend server.
Third parties
We do not sell, share, or transfer any data to third parties. We do not use data for advertising, creditworthiness, lending, or any purpose unrelated to the extension's single purpose of converting a link URL to its relative form.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same URL with a revised "Last updated" date.
