Job Duties

At PSM Marketing, our Client Marketing Leads are the strategic quarterbacks of every client relationship. They’re part project manager, part marketing strategist, and part copy editor (with a dash of tech-savvy thrown in). Acting as the main point of contact for clients, our Marketing Leads ensure every project moves forward smoothly, deadlines are met, and communication flows effortlessly between clients and our internal team. From leading monthly meetings to posting blogs and reviewing content, these marketing pros keep all the moving parts in sync so our clients can focus on what they do best.

Client Marketing Lead Responsibilities at PSM Marketing

  • Act as the primary liaison between clients and PSM’s internal team
    Ensure seamless coordination between copywriters, designers, developers, SEO experts, and other marketing resources.

  • Plan, lead, and document monthly client meetings
    Set agendas, guide strategic discussions, and deliver detailed meeting summaries with clear action items.

  • Review SEO recommendations and implement strategy
    Collaborate with the SEO team to align keyword strategies with client goals, then coordinate with the content team to bring recommendations to life.

  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and allocated hours
    Track deliverables, ensure work stays on schedule, and monitor hours against client retainers or project budgets.

  • Review and edit all written content before client delivery
    Ensure content is accurate, on-brand, and aligned with the client’s voice and objectives.

  • Oversee the creation of e-communications
    Write, edit, or coordinate the creation of newsletters, announcements, and drip campaigns.

  • Support the management of e-communication platforms and CRMs
    Assist clients in using platforms like MailChimp, Constant Contact, or HubSpot; help manage and clean databases when needed.

  • Coordinate content approvals and publishing
    Manage review workflows and ensure all approved content is posted across appropriate platforms (blogs, websites, social media, etc.).

  • Oversee and implement basic website content updates
    Make content changes such as uploading blogs, adding new landing pages, or updating website copy using platforms like WordPress or Squarespace.

  • Serve as the strategic marketing lead for clients
    Provide ongoing marketing guidance, brainstorm new campaigns, and proactively identify growth opportunities.

  • Track marketing performance and analytics
    Monitor KPIs using tools like Google Analytics and provide clients with insights and reporting when appropriate.

Terrie Wheeler or Michelle Wheeler (depending on the client).

 

Requirements

  • Must be technologically savvy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MailChimp, Constant Contact, Zoho, HubSpot or other programs our clients use)
  • Strong project and people management skills
  • Very strong writing abilities
  • Ability to have warm and personable communications with clients and other PSM resources
  • Ability to engage with a virtual team
  • Strong ability to manage many tasks at once
  • Must be detail oriented and deadline driven
  • Marketing experience preferred, not required
  • A computer with a video camera

Job Duties

Work with PSM’s Content Director to deliver cogent, creative, and informative content for our clients.  PSM utilizes Chat GPT in its writing work. Examples of PSM projects that require professional copywriting include: 

  • Website content including blogs, page content, location landing pages and FAQs 
  • Biographies 
  • Print materials such as brochures, flyers, etc. 
  • Advertisements 
  • Newsletters 
  • LinkedIn descriptions 

Requirements 

  • Expert knowledge of English grammar and diction 
  • Basic understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) 
  • Ability to match the “voice” of a company 
  • Adherence to agreed upon project deadlines 
  • Ability to quickly understand and communicate complex business concepts

  • Hourly Rate: Depends on experience 

Job Duties 

  • PR Planning – Working with PSM project managers, develop a public and media relations plan designed to identify key media outlets, topics to pitch, other PR strategies to pursue, and tools for measuring the success of the PR efforts. 
  • Drafting and Editing Press Releases – Many of PSM’s clients are renowned in their industries and often the subject of public recognition. Our Public Relations Specialist must be able to draft enticing, cogent press releases on behalf of our clients. 
  • Drafting and Editing Pitch Letters – These communications should not be a mere recitation of fact. Rather, these pitch letters should paint a picture of who our client is and why they deserve publicity. 
  • Distribution – The PR specialist should be able to create custom PR lists for each client (complete with up-to-date contact information). These lists will include journalists, bloggers, editors, and media relations staff. After drafting press releases, you will be responsible for sending drafts to the relevant project manager for review. Once the release is approved, you will be responsible for distributing to the relevant press contacts. 
  • Media Follow-Up – Work with PSM and its clients to follow up with targeted media contacts to help PSM meet its goals of getting clients interviewed on TV or radio, bylining an article for a publication, securing interviews, getting clients on select podcasts and other positive media coverage designed to build PSM clients’ name recognition.
