Digital Communication Experts for Non-Profits
For nonprofit organizations, gone are the days of paper newsletters and other types of mailings (thank goodness)! At PSM Marketing we work with nonprofit organizations to create a strategic approach to digital communications. At PSM Marketing we help nonprofits in the following areas:
Facebook – We think every nonprofit organization should have a company Facebook profile to post upcoming events and news about the organization.
Twitter – Many nonprofits want to have a Twitter feed that they can add to their website showing the nonprofit is consistently posting updates for its volunteers and donors
LinkedIn – PSM Marketing will assist every management team member of the nonprofit, as well as all board members, create consistent LinkedIn messages that underscore their role in and support of the organization
YouTube – If a picture is worth a thousand words, using YouTube videos to bring your vision, mission and values to life is even better! YouTube can be used to do profile features on employees or board members and can be added to a customized YouTube channel for your organization and added to your website.
Pinterest – Having a Pinterest account can create a go-to site for donors and volunteers who can add photos to the page including images from past events.
ConvertKit – At PSM Marketing we love to encourage our nonprofit clients to use this unique lead nurturing database that allows us to create multiple communications that are automatically sent to contacts over the course of 3, 6, or 12 months.
Instagram – Nonprofits generally provide many solid photo opportunities both within the organization itself, and at fundraising and other community events. Share the love and let your followers experience the joy of volunteering for and supporting your organization.
Hootsuite and Buffer – These are tools our PSM Marketing social media team use to send one post to all of your organization’s social media sites. We call these tools social media aggregators and love how they save us and our clients valuable time.
Constant Contact and MailChimp – Communicating with donors and volunteers has never been easier. We work with our nonprofit clients to help them create electronic communication databases that make it easy to communicate news quickly.
Yelp and Google – We always advocate for our nonprofit clients to solicit reviews. Yelp and Google both have simple ways for your key audiences to provide glowing feedback on what a great organization you have. And, these reviews are extremely helpful and boost search engine rankings
Email Signatures – At PSM Marketing, we work with our nonprofit clients to develop unique and consistent email signatures that promote your branding and provide a consistent format for everyone in the organization to end their email communications with.
Webinars – Nonprofit organizations can benefit from conducting live or recorded webinars on various topics including high-value activities the organization is participating in, or how-to tips that support the organization’s mission, vision and values.
Survey Monkey – One project we completed recently for a nonprofit client was to use Survey Monkey to conduct a survey of current and past donors. From this survey we were able to find out the criteria donors use when determining which organizations to support, and whether or not their contributions were going to increase or decrease. We also tested a lot of our marketing and fundraising messages to ensure we were using the right communications messages.
Google Forms – As an alternative to Survey Monkey, Google Forms allow us to help our clients collect information and create personalized surveys or quizzes.
Evite – Nonprofits are all about having events! We help our clients use digital event tools like Evite to handle the entire invitation and RSVP process. Evite also includes many different tailorable communication options!
PayPal – Here’s hoping your website has a “donate now” button. At PSM Marketing we have worked to integrate many merchant service providers. We are very familiar with the integration of PayPal for this purpose.
Custom Photography – Photography is what will bring your nonprofit and its events to life. We help you select the right photographer for everything from headshots, to group shots, to events!
