About Iurii
Iurii Matvienko is a graphic designer at PSM Marketing and a proud citizen of Ukraine. He has more than 20 years of experience in typography and publishing, and his work in publishing houses and advertising has earned recognition from clients around the world.
Iurii designs everything from brochures and leaflets to catalogs, magazines, books and eBooks, with an eye for creative detail and design that works.
He does all of it from Ukraine, in the middle of a war. Through missile attacks, power outages and nights spent in shelters, Iurii keeps showing up for PSM clients with the same care and craft.
In Iurii’s words
Right now, all of us here are living with the belief that justice is greater than money, power, or global resources. My grandfather fought against Hitler, and today our families are fighting against the russians who attacked our country.
[...] They destroy our power infrastructure, and we often have 8 hours without electricity or heating. In my mother’s apartment, the temperature is 14°C. Still, we are ready to sleep in basements and metro stations, warm ourselves by fires, and cook food there [...]
We do not give up. We hold on. And we are deeply grateful to every country that helps us. [...] Toward morning, around 4–6 a.m., we come out of the basement to meet a new day and give thanks that we are alive. During the day, we live, work, and try to enjoy life — but always with faith in justice.
