Kristy L. Gusick: There are often a lot of questions out there about what the difference is between sales and marketing, and really we understand it’s kind of a gray area. So, what we often say is sales is about asking the right questions, and marketing is about making the right statements. We tell our clients that sales without marketing can be really very challenging and hard, but marketing without sales can be really expensive. So, it’s almost like a teeter-totter, with sales being on one side and marketing being on the other. They really need to work together hand-in-hand to bring forth appropriate business growth and consistent business growth. So, Terrie and I in our engagements with individuals and outsource marketing clients, we make sure that we’re adjusting both the marketing strategy for our clients, whether they’re an individual or a firm, as well as what their sales efforts need to be, which generally is developing business through relationships. So, all of that comes together to bring forth excellent business growth.
