Virtual Marketing Model Leads to Work-Life Balance

October 16, 2019 By Michelle R. Wheeler

PSM: A Thought Leader on Work-Life Balance Since the 90s

Since its inception over 20 years ago, PSM Marketing has been a true virtual marketing firm. Early on, PSM allowed for flexible work hours, remote working, video conferencing, and overall work-life balance back when those concepts were truly novel in most corporate settings. This progressive business model has helped establish PSM as a true thought leader in the Twin Cities business community. Today, workplace culture is shifting to include the desires of Gen Xers and Millennials; two generations that prioritize work-life balance. So why does this model work so well? What magic did PSM tap into way before it was cool? Let’s explore.

In a culture that celebrates doing all the things, the idea of focusing on a niche might seem counterintuitive or even a little crazy. Why Case Studies Are Crucial on Websites for Professional Services

February 23, 2018 By PSM Marketing

snowflake

Not many professional and financial firm websites feature them, which is both surprising and astounding. Why? Because on sites with easily-found, searchable and readable case studies, typically they are the third-most read items after a practitioner’s bio

January 4, 2017 By Jen A. Kelly, PSM Headshot Photographer

I’m often asked, “How often should I update my LinkedIn headshot?” The answer is different for everyone. I originally photographed Mike in 2014. He called a couple of weeks ago to schedule a session for an updated headshot because he’d lost some weight – see the “Before” and “After” pictures below! It was clearly time for […]

The True Value of a New Headshot

November 7, 2016 By Jen A. Kelly, PSM Headshot Photographer

I am humbled, honored and moved by the real power a new headshot can have on someone’s confidence and self-awareness. Aspirational value of a headshot The first time a client commented on the inner meaning of their headshot, I was taken aback. It brought tears to my eyes to discover that their photo would be aspirational […]

Professional services firms continue to grapple with how to effectively market themselves. Terrie and team are the answer - no need for expensive internal teams or junior-level people who don’t have experience when they can outsource their marketing and get personalized programs and coaching. The PSM model works.

I utilized PSM marketing for a website redo and student tracking system needed for a non-profit organization I work with. My experience with PSM Marketing was extremely positive. Our Project Manager, Michelle, worked with our board from start to finish and delivered a new website and student tracking system that works for our organization. This was accomplished at a reasonable cost, which is so important for a non-profit to consider. I have been equally impressed by the follow up support I have received. When I have a question or need support with our website or student tracking system, the PSM Marketing team is there to help. I highly recommend PSM Marketing!

I have been working with Terri and Professional Services Marketing for many years and every day they continue to amaze. Aside from their tremendous marketing and advertising skill and attention, the passion with which they execute plans and propose new ideas goes far beyond any other service company I have worked with during the 20 years I have been in practice. I have watched my office grow as a result of their marketing and advertising efforts and recommend them unequivocally to anyone who wants to improve their marketing efforts.

Ever since being introduced to Terrie & Kristy and their team at PSM Marketing, I have been so impressed and amazed at the level of service they provide to their clients. I've had the privilege of photographing many on their team and more importantly their clients. It is always apparent that the law firms that use the expertise of PSM clearly stand out from the crowd in their external facing presence!!!

What a terrific group! It took me some time before I was willing to accept that I needed their advice on marketing, but I am so glad that I did. Within 12 months, I saw a 50% increase in origination of new clients. I also improved the type of clients that were calling for legal services (that is, sophisticated users of legal services). I may have already had the legal skills, but PSM helped me build a successful practice. They are fantastic.
